The saying that "Sometimes it takes a long time for change to happen quickly" might best be characterized by the ebook, which turns 40 this year. A great example of how sometimes an innovation is not a bad idea, it just takes a while for the right set of enabling factors to be in place for the technology to gain acceptance or adoption in the marketplace.
